Raj Bunnag
Raj Bunnag is an American artist living and working in Durham, North Carolina. He received his MFA from the University of Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2022 and his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2012 with an emphasis in Printmaking. Bunnag’s practice examines systematic racism inherent to the foundations of the US, through themes in the lineage of print. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at the SAC Gallery Bangkok, American University Dubai, the Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh, Duke Energy for the Performing Arts Center, the Jewett Art Gallery at Wellesley College, The University of Wisconsin Parkside and the Kai Lin Art Gallery in Atlanta. He has completed residencies at Western Carolina University and Montgomery College and given artist talks at various universities and galleries around the country.
